You might have heard of the film “Willing to Sacrifice” directed Rajasthan Royal Forts and Palaces Voyage will take you to major travel destinations of Rajasthan such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Udaipur, and some of the off-the beaten paths that house fort and castles. You will explore the colorful Indian village life and cultural life of the people. The most thrilling will be exploration of the majestic Taj at Agra.
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
As you will arrive at the Delhi international airport you will receive warm welcome of Divino Indian Memoirz representative. He will directly take you the hotel reserved for you in advance. Relax and get refreshed.
If you happen to arrive at Delhi in the morning or afternoon you can explore the heritage monuments of Old Delhi-the majestic red sandstone architecture Red Fort, the Asia’s largest mosque, Jama Masjid, and the oldest market of Delhi, Chandni Chowk. While strolling on the roads of Old Delhi, you will discover a quite different world here.
Evening enjoy Light and Sound Show at Red Fort. After dinner stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Delhi-Jaipur-Pachewar
After breakfast you will drive towards Jaipur. Reaching Jaipur you will have your lunch and then again head towards Pachewar, a small village located at outskirt of Jaipur.
On arrival our representative will accommodate you at the hotel. Then you will laze at the hotel. Evening just stroll around the villages.
After dinner stay overnight.
Day 03: Pachewar Sightseeing
The whole day is devoted to sightseeing at Pachewar.
Explore Pachawar today. Pachewar is an attraction for the tourists for its cenotaphs, blue pottery, metal toy makers and pastoral surroundings. It houses an old Fort that is covered by walls. The gates are impressive, the balconies and spacious apartments are decked with frescoes. Visit also the
Royal cenotaphs and the ancient temples.
Visit the local artisans to see their handicrafts like making of blue pottery, cozy carpets, colorful tie and dye, and terra cotta pieces.
After dinner stay overnight
Day 04: Pachewar-Bundi
You will leave today the pastoral village Pachewar. After breakfast start your drive to Bundi.
On arrival take your hotel. Afternoon you will explore the Taragarh Fort dates back to 14th century. Explore its inside large battlement with a canon. Visit the adjacent Bundi palace decked with beautiful murals. Bundi has step walls --Raniji ki Baori, Nagar Sagar Kund and Nawal Sagar. Visit the step wall sites and other temples.
After dinner, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Bundi-Bijaipur
After breakfast you will be driven to Bijaipur by Indian Memoirz representative.
While you reach Bijaipur take your hotel. Afternoon you will visit the Bijaipur castle which is now a heritage hotel.
Bijaipur is a fun to the horse riders, trekkers, campers and angling enthusiasts. Have fun here according to your interest. After dinner overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Bijaipur-Khempur
Today you will leave Bijaipur and head towards Khempur, a pastoral village in Rajasthan. On the way you will halt at Chittaurgarh to explore the Chittorgarh fort that covers a huge area perched on a hillock. Explore its water bodies inside the fort and the architecture.
Then you will drive to Khempur. On arrival take your hotel. Afternoon enjoy a horse ride o explore the surroundings of Khempur.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7-Khempur-Udaipur
After breakfast you will check out the hotel and get ready for your next drive to Udaipur, the most romantic city of Rajasthan flanked by lakes, palaces and beautiful backdrop.
As you reach Udaipur take your hotel. Evening enjoy boat ride on the waters of Lake Pichola overlooking its scenic backdrop.
After dinner stay overnight.
Day 08: Udaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, get ready for your full day sightseeing tour in Udaipur.
Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Fateh sagar Lake, Shaelion Ki Bari (queen's resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (folk art museum). You will be mesmerized to explore the City Palace. Explore the murals, paintings of its interiors.
You can also visit the art and handicrafts centers in Udaipur. Evening, just walk around the bank of Lake Pichola. After dinner say overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Udaipur- Narlai
After breakfast you will leave your Udaipur hotel and start your next drive to Narlai, a scenic village in Rajasthan which houses a fort and temples.
Enroute you visit the impressive Kumbhalgarh fort.
On arrival take your hotel. Afternoon explore the Narlai Fort and its temples. Explore the temples located inside the 90m single rock of granite.
Tour villages of Narlai. Dinner and stay overnight.
Day 10: Narlai-Jodhpur
Early morning you will explore the Ranakpur Jain temples located near Narlai. Then you will check out the hotel and start your drive to Jodhpur.
While you reach Jodhpur you will rest at the hotel booked for you in advance. After dinner stay overnight.
Day 11: Jodhpur
The whole day tour of Jodhpur city. Explore its palaces and forts.
Visit first the Mehrangarh Fort. Explore the Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Moti Mahal, Daulat Khan and Sileh Khana located inside the fort. The palace museum has rare collections of rarities, antiques and relics of the past like costumes, tea sets, clocks, timepieces and paintings. It is converted into a heritage hotel now, yet a royal family lives in a separate wing.
Also visit the Jaswant Thada, the marble cenotaph.
Afternoon, you can shop at the markets of Jodhpur as it is known for marble paintings and other various handicrafts.
Day 12: Jodhpur-Chandelao
Leave your Jodhpur hotel and start drive to Chandelao, a scenic village in Rajasthan.
On arrival settle at your booked accommodation. Afternoon enjoy jeep safari to the villages. After dinner stay overnight.
Day 13: Chandelao-Osian
You will move towards Osian, a desert town in Rajasthan.
Ossian houses a cluster of ruined Brahmanical and Jain Temples. Dating back to the 8th to 11th centuries, the temples of Osian display a marvel of architectural designs. Explore all is temples and the most significant ones are The Surya or Sun Temple and the Sachiya Mata Temple.
Today you will spend the night at tented camps in sand dunes. Late afternoon enjoy camel ride on the sand dunes.
Stay overnight at the tent.
Day 14: Osian-Bikaner
Leave your tented camp and start your drive to Bikaner, the camel capital of Rajasthan.
Enroute you will visit the Karni Mata Temple at Deshnok where rats are worshipped by the devotees here.
On arrival take your Bikaner hotel.
Day 15: Bikaner
You will tour a full day sightseeing in Bikaner.
The Junagarh Fort made of red sandstone and marble is the prime attraction of Bikaner. Explore all the palaces located inside it. Then you will visit Devi Kund, Shivbari Temple and Havelis of Bikaner, Lallgarh Palace.
Visit the Camel Breeding Farm, the largest in Asia where you will see camel rearing.
Don’t miss a visit to Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum which has collections from the Harappa civilization and other pre-historic ages.
Late afternoon enjoy a camel ride. After dinner, stay overnight.
Day 16: Bikaner-Mandawa (200 kms-4 hours)
After breakfast you will start your drive to Mandawa, a city of Shekhawati region of Rajasthan.
While you reach take your hotel. Then you will explore the Mandawa castle and the havelis. The havelis are lavishly decorated with frescoes by the rich merchants; still they are impressive to please an eye.
You will also visit other havelis and temples of Shekhawati cities.
After a dinner stay overnight at Mandawa hotel.
Day 17: Mandawa-Jaipur (151 kms-3 hours drive)
After breakfast you will start your drive towards Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan dotted with forts and palaces.
On arrival our representative will settle you at the hotel.
Afternoon you can have your own choice. Just stroll around the city and evening enjoy a movie at the famous jag Mandir cinema hall.
A theme dinner will be offered to you. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 18: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast you will get ready for a full day sightseeing in Jaipur.
First you tour the three forts of Jaipur- Amber, Nahargarh and Jaigarh Fort. You will be mesmerized when you enjoy an elephant ride to the top of the Amber Fort perched on a hillock.
After lunch you visit the majestic City palace and explore its museum. Then you will visit the Jantar Mantar, an observatory where you will see surrealistic astronomical elements. Explore the Hawa Mahal, the five-storey palace of winds.
You can shop at the markets of Jaipur to pick up souvenirs.
After dinner stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 19: Jaipur-Agra (235 kms-4.30 hours)
Leave the Jaipur hotel to start your next drive to Agra in Uttar Pradesh.
On the way drive you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri to explore the deserted capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. All the palaces and mosques of Fatehpur are masterpieces of Mughal architecture. It is now a heritage site.
On arrival in Agra you will take your hotel. Then you will explore the Agra Fort, the Itmad-ul-Daulah Tomb before proceeding towards Taj Mahal, the jewel of Mughal architecture. Taj is the emblem of love of Emperor Shah Jahan to his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. The sunset view of Taj will stun your eyes.
Evening have your Mughlai dinner offered by Divino Indian Memoirz representative. Stay overnight at Agra hotel.
Day 20: Agra- Delhi (204 kms-4 hours drive)
Early morning you will be driven to Delhi. On arrival take your hotel. Then you will explore the sightseeing in New Delhi. Visit the India Gate, drive past the President House, then explore the Humayun’s’ tomb, Qutub Minar.
Do your last day shopping in Delhi. After dinner laze at the hotel.
Day 21–Delhi-Departure
Rajasthan Royal Forts and Palaces Voyage comes to an end. Divino Indian Memoirz representative will timely transfer you to the airport.
