This niwas was originally the residence of Maharaja Ganga Singhji of Bikaner. The rooms were designed keeping the royal family into consideration. All the rooms are lavishly decorated using gold wall paintings and they have carved wood ceilings.

This royal palace has a gigantic principal entrance where you can see the clock tower that evokes memories of royal splendor and grandeur. Since, the rooms were designed for the royal family, gold was used for decorating the rooms. The wall paintings that could be seen in the rooms are all made of gold and the rooms have painted wooden ceilings. The rooms have also been painstakingly refurbished but it does not lose its original grandeur even today. Other facilities that are provided inside the room include refrigerators, telephone, and satellite television and hot and cold running water and air conditioning.
