Nathdwara is 48 km northeast away from the city Udaipur. It is located on the bank of 'Banas' river. Nathdwara stands for 'Gate of the Lord'. Nathdwara is one of the famous Hindu pilgrimage places in India, enthroning Lord Krishna as Govardhan Giridhari. Nathdwara has popular temple of Srinathji- a fresco of Krishna. Srinathji Temple : Srinathji Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, shows the picture in which Lord Krishna has been lifted the Govardhana Hill and mollified Indra.
